The Grotto

Looks like I’m helping The Bigs clean, right?

Wrong! I’m curling.

This week we returned to Mexico for Baja shrimp tacos with lime crema, rice and beans, and fried plantains.

I decided to spend my allowance on another soldering kit. Here I am getting started.

This one is going to take a while. Can you guess what I am making?!

We had another powder day today. It was a real Pacific Northwest kind of day. Wet, wet snow. It was tricky skiing. I managed, falling less than The Mother…

and even did another black diamond (Grotto) not once but TWICE.

Your angulation in the steep wet snow looks great! I wish I had been out with you over these past two years to ski with you. You’re so far beyond my skiing abilities now that I hope you’ll humor me someday and ski a green or blue trail with me. I don’t do black diamonds!
I couldn’t tell what you were soldering… a circuit board?
Love, Nana ❤

I hope the stone didn’t scratch your floor while you were sweeping. I’m going with some sort of timing device for your soldering project. Looking very professional on the slopes.

Hmmm….I’m going to say it’s a digital clock. Heavy wet snow doesn’t sound like fun to me. It sounds like a lot of work; It might be even worse than “corn snow”. Enjoy!❤️

Hi.. The best part of this blog for me was the Baja shrimp tacos. Yum! Of course skiing a black diamond twice was pretty impressive👌 You are a brave boy. Maybe you can show the Mother some things so she doesn’t fall too much😂😂😂 I agree with Uncle Jim. A digital clock.
