Nana – Fall ’24

This blog was written by Emmett (and then Mom added some things).

We made cookies for Halloween.

One night for dinner, I made brats and sauerkraut and dad made the broccoli.

For Halloween I was a cowboy. Here I am before school on Tuesday.

I never got to go trick or treating. I had a fever of 104 on Halloween night, so I had to stay in. I feel much better now.

We took Nana to dinner at Dear Mom.

Nana and I had Dad’s Garlic Shrimp.

Mom had Khao Soi: Northern Thai famous dish “Khao Soi” Egg Noodle in aromatic rich coconut curry broth, bean sprout, pickled mustard, raw shallot, crispy wonton, cilantro, and smoke garlic chili oil and lime

Dad had the Sukhothai Noodle: One of Thailand’s most savory noodles! Rice Noodle, house roasted pork, ground pork, crispy wonton, Bean sprout, pork crackling, roasted peanuts. green beans, dried shrimp and cilantro

The Bigs went to parent/teacher conferences. My teachers said I am doing a good job. I had to complete a self-assessment. All is good, but I am a little bored.

The next picture might be boring because you’ve all seen it except yaya, gum and the rest of you who haven’t yet come to Bend, so I will tell you – it is Peterson Rock Garden

I hosted another world famous bar

Today we went on a beautiful fall walk along the Deschutes.
