Avy training

After a lot of snow, we finally have had some sunny days.

They had the award ceremony for last week’s race before training on Saturday. Here I am getting my 2nd place medal. Next time, I want first.

Anticipating firm downhill conditions and holiday crowds, we decided to do a Nordic ski on Sunday. Did dad need a break or did I 🤣?

We know The Mother needed one.

After skiing, I did a little rock climbing around the house. The Bigs found me scaling door frames.

I didn’t have school today, so we decided to go backcountry skiing. Thankfully no one needed to use the outhouse.

Here I am climbing to the top of the ridge.

At the top I enjoyed some gorp (good old raisins and peanuts – and some M&Ms).

These guys really wanted some.

The skiing wasn’t great, so Dad taught me how to find someone if they were buried by an avalanche.

After all that hard work it was time for lunch. I am on a charcuterie kick lately.

Great pics of another activity packed week. Congrats on the medal. Before you know it, you will be on the top step. I am sure. I like your bird friends. .

Wonderful pictures with lots of snow and sunshine. The little bird was so cute.
that was wonderful that dad was teaching you how to find someone in an avalanche. I just hope you never have to do it.
