It was another gorgeous fall week here. We did some rock climbing at Smith Rock.

We went to the Textbooks area of Student Wall and climbed a route called School’s Out:

And, we did more work on the go-kart.

The Mother made Calabrian chili white beans with almond romesco and

sausage polenta. We think Grandma Marie would approve!

Pretty soon they’ll be calling this Webb Rock. Go cart looks like it’s moving along nicely. Dishes look great.
I don’t think I like seeing the rock climbing pictures. You are too daring for me. That’s way too high. Food looks wonderful and I’m glad you’re still working on that. Go kart.
Go kart looks like it will be a lot of fun. Where do you plan to take it once it’s done? When I was a little younger, a few lifetimes ago, Soapbox derbies were a big thing and it seems that they are still going strong. Check out some of the videos from the Salem, Oregon races.
I just can’t get myself into the mindset of rock climbing….. I just keep saying ‘Yikes! Be careful!’
The go-kart is looking great. Do you have a date of completion in mind!
So looking forward to seeing you within the week!
