One more lift to go!

Some things I have been up to lately.

Cleaning those hard to reach places – only requires a stool on a stool.

Making my own snacks (and the recipes). This one is 1/2 cup dried goldenberries, 1/4 cup dried apples, and 1/2 cup dried figs.

And skiing. I knocked off another lift this weekend. First ride on Outback.

I also put my nordic lessons to work and hit the trails on Sunday.

It was warm enough for a tailgate.

This week The Mother decided if it could not be made in a crockpot, we couldn’t eat it. Lazy, I tell ya!

Our country of the week was Morocco. We enjoyed Moroccan lamb stew.

Tortilla soup.

And creamy cauliflower soup.

Pops snack is peanuts raisins and heavy on the M&M’s. Looks like you will be mastering Mt Bachelor before the end of the season. Hurray for you.

Cleaning on a stool on top of another stool? Crazy kid!! Skiing and tailgating on a nice sunny day. Perfect. Making your own snacks even better. The Moroccan meals are good with me. I would love to try all of them. I see you have camouflage pants and a jacket. How cool are you😍🥰

Em, congrats on conquering one more chairlift or, more importantly, the slope to which it leads. I have to say the Moroccan lamb stew looks pretty good.

Love the photo of Em and ‘the Mother’ on the Nordic trails! Once again, so nice to see such happy faces! All the food looks yummy… the Moroccan lamb stew incentivized me to take the lamb stew cubes out of the freezer, locate my Ras el hanout, and get ready to make some stew tomorrow…
Love the weekly blog!!
