We headed to the Southern Oregon Coast this past week. We stopped by the side of the road for a picnic. I showed Mom how to throw rocks.
Our first night we stayed at Jessie M. Honeyman State Park. Yes, Nan, there were bathrooms and showers.
Sleep? Who needs to sleep? Let's get this party started, Lion.
We hiked the sand dunes.
And then WAWA (water)
The next night we stayed at:
(yes, Nan. There were bathrooms and showers).
WAWA! WAWA! Only a walk from the campsite!
At Battle Rock Wayside Park in Port Orford:
I need to get away from the bigs.
Stop bigs.
I need to eat some sand.
That sand wasn't very filing. How about some steamers...
and fried clams?
Geez Mom. You let Dad do all the cooking and now I have to get the campfire wood. Do you do anything?
We have teardrop lights. Thank you Scolardis.
Sleep?! Wha ha ha. That's funny.
My first toasted marshmallow.
Not a fan.
Back at the Cape Blanco campsite beach. WAWA! WAWA!
Ut oh.
Can the bigs go anywhere without a bike ride?
WAWA! WAWA! Elk river swim.
My future's so bright...
More Cape Blanco State Park beauty.
Coquille River Lighthouse in Bandon, OR (home of Ms. Jessica).
Fish made completely out of garbage fished from the ocean.
Pop. I walked all these stairs. One day I'll race you up Mohegan Bluffs. I'm training.
Susan Creek Campground on the Umpqua River.
My first mountain bike. I totally kicked ass and
WAWA! WAWA!
Bike up after some rock throwing in the Umpqua. No problem.
Watson Falls on the way home.
WAWA! WAWA!
Even though they were convinced I am the devil's spawn, mom and dad stopped one more time on the way home for WAWA! A quick dip in Diamond Lake.
