I love going to the river.


Dad got an Alaskan sourdough starter from one of his students. We've had some yummy sourdough bread, pancakes, and Caprese waffles. Dad's waffle:

So, I don't have a diaper on?

Mom gave me these measuring cups and a bucket full of water and told me to occupy myself. So I did.

And then the bigs got mad when I started banging rocks with the measuring cups. Now I have to play with plastic containers. They might be the lamest humans in the world.

Sam I am says 'do you like green eggs and ham?'
I always say 'no', but mom keeps reading.

It has been a hot week. I went to the river a lot.

I am not sure what you mean about me being a pain in the butt.

Who else would reorganize the cupboards. Not you two lazy bums.

Plus, I put up with your baloney. You take me for hikes at 6300 ft when it is SNOWING (in June) and I don't complain.




I guess we did get to see a huge bald eagle and if we hadn't come and braved the weather - we would have missed him!





I love my firetruck pjs. Who cares if mom and dad think it is slovenly to go outside in pjs? I fancied my outfit up with monster mittens. Plus, who cares what I look like when I have serious biking to do?

I rode to the top of McKenzie Pass this weekend.


I saw Mt. Washington,

a castle of dragons,


two of the Three Sisters,

and Mt. Jefferson.

I wasn't impressed.


The road was closed to cars. I guess they just finished plowing the last quarter of mile of the trip a few days ago.

I really can't get enough bike riding in.


Did I say I love picnics? I really like cornichons.



I just saw a fish this freakin' big!

Oh yes, I am standing in an excavator bucket. My day is made. Maybe my week.
