Now that I'm three, the bigs said I'm ready for knives.

Last week, we went camping in Idaho. It was a 6.5 hour drive, and the bigs can only handle 3 hours of 'whys' at a time, so we stopped halfway and stayed by the Malheur River.

When we got to our final destination, the state park we hoped to camp in was full. The bigs were not optimistic about 'Last Chance' campground, but it turned out to be terrific.

I did some extreme rock jumping.

Dad did the Wild Ride XTERRA. I did the Make Believe Duathlon (organized by Mom).

We both did quite well.

There was a hot spring at Last Chance. We ended our trip with a quick soak before hitting the road again.

Our midway camping site was in the Ochoco Forest.

This weekend we hiked the Alder Springs trail. I walked 1.1 miles all by myself. It took 1 hour.

I give up. Too much walking and now you want me to cross a river?!

Sparks Lake 2

Posted by: Becca and Kyle

The Bigs went paddle boarding a lot this past week. They only took me once. I was not invited on this trip to Sparks Lake.

I couldn't get too mad. They are pretty nice. Dad made three birthday cakes this week. He wanted to make sure he got it just right for my party. Here is Take 1 (chocolate layer cake with chocolate buttercream filling):

Here is #3. No, I'm not turning 23 or 32, but I was two and I will be three...

Scissors

Posted by: Becca and Kyle
I enjoy scissoring. In fact, it is my favorite new activity. The bigs enjoy picking up confetti. So it's really win win.

I told you four pounds of cherries was not too much.

When I am not scissoring, I do slaloming.
thumb_IMG_2821_1024
Why are you down there?
thumb_IMG_2802_1024
Playgrounds are hard work. I need to eat a peach and a nectarine to refuel.
