Punkin Waffles Please.

More cowbell, please!
Every night I beg the bigs to let me shovel and broom. They laugh and say things like 'hope this keeps up until you're 18'. I'm not sure what they are talking about, but I love moving snow.
Sometimes my need to move snow supersedes the bigs' need for me to look respectable. They complain loudly about my "get up", but if snow has to be moved, snow has to be moved. I have more important things to worry about than my hat not matching (or fitting) and rain boots with a track suit looking silly.
Usually the bigs have all the fun but today I drew the line. I'm skiing too, and I am going far like the bigs too.
Mom is not much of a photographer. She wasn't able to capture my speed.
All good endurance athletes know the benefits of chocolate milk post workout.
You all know how much I like to put food in my belly.
This week was a good one for that. Mom is working on a chocolate almond cupcake recipe. We had to eat all the failures. They all were failures. Dad and I took one for the team and ate them. Sigh.
We also had red lentil and coconut milk soup. The bigs did not think it was a failure. They loved it. I beg to differ.
Every night before I go to bed dad asks what I want for breakfast. It's easy. If it is a weekday morning I want oats with pears, coconut milk, and cinnamon. And if it is the weekend, I want pumpkin waffles (the bigs call them pancakes, not sure what that's all about) stuffed with apples and walnuts. I like routines.
